The "Turkish States Diplomatic Mission Meetings" event was held at OSTIM
OSB President Orhan Aydın: “We have focused ourselves on the Turkish world in terms of trade. In this context, we are making serious visits and have started commercial relations.”
Orhan Aydın, President of OSTIM Organized Industrial Zone (OSTIM OSB), stated that they are focusing on the Turkish world in terms of trade, saying, “In this context, we are making serious visits and have started commercial relations.”
An event titled “Turkish States Diplomatic Mission Meetings” was organized by the OSTIM Foreign Trade Coordination Office in the industrial zone.
In his speech at the event, Aydın mentioned that trade, like art, has a common international language.
Within this scope, Aydın noted their quest to engage in trade with foreign countries, emphasizing the importance of enriching close relations with countries through trade.
Aydın expressed that they are carrying out systematic work to bring the companies and professional clusters in OSTIM to the international arena and that they are receiving expert support in this matter. He added:
“In the reports we obtained from the research conducted, the Turkish and Islamic world is scarcely mentioned. Countries like Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Bangladesh are not included among the countries we should be visiting. This issue needs to be examined. We see that there are other countries we need to explore in this context. Outside of these prepared reports, we have focused ourselves on the Turkish world in terms of trade. In this context, we are making serious visits and have started commercial relations.”
Aydın highlighted that they are working to maintain these commercial relations strongly and that OSTIM is particularly engaged in projects in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Aygün Attar, a member of the Presidential Security and Foreign Policies Council and President of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Friendship, Cooperation, and Solidarity Foundation, also stated that the program is a very important and overdue step.
Attar recalled that the European Union (EU) was initially founded on economic cooperation and later became a political organization, and emphasized that the Organization of Turkic States has ensured multifaceted cooperation in the Turkish world.
Following the speeches, diplomatic mission representatives, ambassadors, commercial and military attachés from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) stationed in Ankara, along with Yalçın Orhon, General Manager of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) Turkey, made presentations on investment opportunities in these countries.
