Commemorative Concert for Hungary’s 1848-49 Revolution and War of Independence Held in Ankara
A concert was organized in the Turkish capital, Ankara, to commemorate Hungary’s 1848-49 Revolution and War of Independence.
The event took place at the Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center, hosted by Çankaya Municipality. Among the attendees were Hungary’s Ambassador to Ankara, Viktor Matis, foreign mission representatives, and numerous guests.

Following the speeches, an enchanting performance was delivered by award-winning Hungarian violinist Márta Ábrahám and Junior Prima and Artisjus award-winning pianist László Borbély.

Ábrahám, who has been playing the violin since the age of five, stated that art allows them to rediscover themselves. Borbély added, “Music is the best way to express myself.”
