\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\u201cThe construction of the new 3,000 square metre embassy building in Ankara has begun,\u201d Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3 announced on his Facebook page, where he also shared a photo of the construction, Telex reported.<\/p>\n

Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3 said that Turkey could play an important mediating role \u201cin the hopeful conclusion of the war in Ukraine\u201d.<\/p>\n

Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3 also met with Turkish trade minister Mehmet Musand to sign an agreement on a new Hungarian-Turkish Economic and Trade Committee.<\/p>\n

Trade between the two countries was up 15% compared to 2020, totalling $4 billion.<\/p>\n

Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3 also said Hungary would provide \u20ac37.6 billion in support for the Kaposv\u00e1r investment of the Turkish glass manufacturer Sisecam, which the government hopes will create 320 new jobs.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, at the end of the year, a government programme will help Hungarian companies to enter the Turkish market in the fields of power plant construction, water management and printing, while Hungary\u2019s Eximbank is ready to support further Hungarian-Turkish business cooperation with a \u20ac105 million credit line, Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3 wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n
