[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2343″ img_size=”full”][vc_custom_heading text=”Contemporary Hungarian Art is in Turkey with Sandor Krizbai!” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text]Sandor Krizbai (b. 1949), one of the most important artists of the contemporary Hungarian art, also known under the pseudonym of Alex, meets the audience for the first time in Turkey with the exhibition \u201cMystical Dreams\u201d under the sponsorship of ALX Hungary.<\/p>\n

Alex has produced different and various art works from performing arts, installation arts, canvas painting to media and video arts and, now, the exhibition \u201cMystical Dreams\u201d gathers together his oil paintings considered an important part of his artistic life and, his other works shaped based thereon.<\/p>\n

A selection of his works produced by the artist within about thirty years from the 1980\u2019s up to today is exhibited. The nature and landscape factors become prominent as the building blocks of the paintings of Alex.<\/p>\n

In this nature principles that the artist applies, he abstains from the realist approach, impressionism, the understanding of colors and lights from the 19th century and, adopts a form of emotional expressionist.<\/p>\n

The works of this artist are dominated by a mystical and surrealistic expression based on imagination containing some references to social events. People are depicted at the center of the pictorial mysticism created by the artist expressing their ideas, actions, mistakes, faiths, languages, cultures, histories, traditions and myths, as a part of the eternal nature.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Who is Sandor Krizbai?” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text]Sandor Krizbai (Alex) was born in 1949 in the city of Targu Mure\u015f, the region of Erdel, Romania. He was one of the founders of the Erdel avantgarde art group during the 1970\u2019s. He moved to Hungary in 1984 and, established his studio in Szentendre, known as the city of artists, near Budapest. The works from the artist are included in the collections of national and international museum as well private collections in many countries, in particular, Romania, Germany, Japan, South Africa, Finland, Austria and Hungary. He established a group of artists called \u201cMystical Scene Studio\u201d in 2011 in order to address the cultural traditions and spirituality in the Carpathian Basis from the view of an artist. He was chosen in 2014 as a member of the Szentendre colony of artists, one of the oldest colony of artists in Europe. He continues creating works in his studio in Szentendre..[\/vc_column_text]
