HEPA Türkiye, the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, continues to develop commercial relations between Hungary and Türkiye.
The “Trade and Business Cooperation Seminars with Hungary,” held in Denizli and Rize, provided the business community with comprehensive information on Hungary’s investment environment and trade opportunities. The events, hosted by regional chambers of commerce, made a significant contribution to strengthening the economic ties between the two countries.
The “Trade and Business Cooperation Seminars with Hungary,” organized by HEPA Türkiye and held in Denizli on November 21st and Rize on November 24th, served as an important step towards strengthening economic relations between Türkiye and Hungary. Through these events, hosted by the Denizli Chamber of Commerce and the Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participants were provided with detailed information regarding Hungary’s investment environment, trade opportunities, and potential areas of cooperation.
At the event in Denizli, Hasan Aracı, Vice President of the Denizli Chamber of Commerce, shared information about the manufacturing power and export potential of the Denizli business community. Yalçın Orhon, General Manager of HEPA Türkiye, and Emre Cihad Sönmez, HEPA Türkiye Country Manager, along with their delegation, conveyed Hungary’s sectoral priorities and the cooperation opportunities it offers to Turkish companies. Miklos Bujaky, Trade Attaché of the Consulate General of Hungary in Istanbul, shared insights into Hungary’s investment incentives and the advantages of accessing the European market.
The seminar in Rize was also organized by HEPA Türkiye and hosted by the Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the seminar, attended by RTSO President Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu, Assembly Speaker Ahmet Arif Mete, Máté Szabados, Trade Attaché of the Hungarian Embassy in Ankara, and Emre Cihad Sönmez, HEPA Türkiye Country Manager, Mr. Sönmez provided information on Hungary’s ecosystem, industrial infrastructure, market entry strategies for the Hungarian market, and concrete commercial opportunities based on cooperation models specifically developed for firms from both countries. Attaché Szabados, in turn, gave a presentation sharing data on the investment opportunities in both countries.
These two events, held under the coordination of HEPA Türkiye and hosted by the chambers of commerce, brought regional dynamism to Türkiye-Hungary economic relations. Participants had the opportunity to directly learn about Hungary’s trade and investment potential. The seminars represent a strategic step that paves the way for joint projects, new investments, and an increased foreign trade volume between the two countries.
